The mission of Mountain Top Boys Home is to help young boys prepare to take an ethical and responsible citizenship role in their communities.
Mountain Top Boys Home cares for young boys who through no fault of their own become residents of our agency. Their daily life is organized family style and guided by professional staff and house parents who counsel and mentor each boy.
These youth are referred by Georgia Department of Family and Child Services. They often arrive neglected, immature, challenged, and have special physical, social, and emotional needs. Upon completion of Mountain Top's individualized program, they become young men who are ready to take a faith-based and responsible citizenship role in life.
Our two lodges and office situated on 300 plus acres nestled near the Chattahoochee National Forest provide a safe residential setting with access to public schools. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we rely heavily on outside donations to meet the needs of our boys and support the program.
We believe pouring positive encouragement, direction, and resources into a young boy's life now will create a safer, more successful society for the future.

From Woodshop to Family Reunification and Counseling Center

So many times families are separated and are unable to acquire the services they need to get back on their feet. They struggle for housing, counseling, job training, parenting classes… all the while their children are placed miles apart. Mountain Top is reuniting families by providing a place that many of these services can be taught and obtained. The old Woodshop is being transformed into the Family Reunification and Counseling Center. This is a large undertaking, and we need your help. The budget for this project is $100,000 and we are on the way there. Please donate today to help us provide this ministry to families.
Mountain Top Homes!
It is very exciting to announce our new ministry at Mountain Top is the Mountain Top Homes foster care agency. Not only are we able to provide a great loving environment for our residents here on campus, but we are also now able to provide Christian families as foster homes in our communities! Ever since the inception of Mountain Top we have been limited by space. But now, through God’s favor, we are now able to place children of all ages in foster homes. We can now keep sibling groups together, and even place little children in Christian homes. Our recruitment base is our churches. If you or your church, would like to learn more about this ministry, please contact at foster@mountaintophomes.org
